Macaroons, I’d like to talk to you about an issue plaguing this country. An issue I encounter 42,652 times a day within the tourist population. An issue that can so easily be solved, making the world a more beautiful place & making you more comfortable at the same time. Macaroons, I’m talking about muffin top.
Muffin top, for those who don’t know, is the uncomfortable looking occurrence of hip flesh hanging over the top of pants, skirts or jeans caused by the offending garments being too small & the offending wearer trying to squeeze into them anyway. It’s probably the most unattractive fashion statement ever.

I know some of us are stubborn & refuse to buy pants in the double digits or live in denial even though we need to go one size higher, but think about your comfort! If your clothes are too small, macaroons, even a size zero girl will look bigger. You can be a size 20 & if you dress for your body, you will always look good.
No one can see the number on your pants label so why does that matter so much to us? Why does that tiny embroidered number matter more than what we actually look like? Spend your money on clothes that fit & feel good. If you feel insecure in your clothes, you’ll never learn to love your body.
Please, leave the muffin tops in the bakery.
