What do you want to accomplish, macaroons?
On April 22, 2014 I will turn 30 years old. Last October, I posted my 30 before 30- a list of things I want to accomplish or experience before my 30th birthday. After about a year of being largely uninspired by my list, I’ve revamped it a bit. I had a lot of life goals on there instead of thinking more adventure, more short term.
1) Earn my motorcycle license
2) Learn to play bass guitar
3) Visit Spain
4) See a bullfight
5) Send a postcard to PostSecret
6) Grow a plant (& hopefully keep it alive for at least a week)
7) Watch 50 cult films (29/50)
8 ) See 20 foreign language films
9) Dethklok art project
10) Attend a performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show
l11) Do a Bombshell Betty Pin Up Workshop
12) Visit all 50 states (21/50)
13) Do three straight months of PAC boot camp
14) Rescue a dog
15) Beat Final Fantasy 8 & X-2
16) Have a poem published in a significant literary journal
17) Learn to speak Russian
19) Read Chuck Palahniuk’s entire catalogue
20) Get married by Elvis in Vegas (preferably once I’ve already had a real wedding)
21) Participate in a Polar Bear Plunge
22) Fire a gun
23) Go to Crazy 4 Cult opening at Gallery 1988 in LA
24) Get my 3/4 sleeve tattoo
25) Purchase an AYCJ Pass from JetBlue & spend an entire month traveling non-stop.
26) Go Drinking Around the World at Epcot
27) Ride a mechanical bull
28) Straighten my hair
29) Host a theme party for all my friends
30) Fall madly in love again (not likely)
