So much severe love for this coat ♥
Macaroons, let’s take a moment to stand back & appreciate what Hayden-Harnett does for us. I’ve been carrying their handbags for at least 5 years now. In fact, all these years later & I’m using the very first bag I ever purchased from them right now! Not to mention, my beauty kit would completely fall apart without my HH Carryall.
Now they’re making shoes, dresses, jackets & tons of other things that all have me drooling just as hard as I was when my first few packages arrived from Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
I’m so madly in love with the GARCON Turnlock Trench. I’m not sure I’ve ever loved a garment like this before. It’s every bit worth the price tag. I’m not even going to try to find something similar for less. Nope, macaroons, you’re on your own there! The Havana Hobo gives this a nice pop of color & it’s actually the very bag chilling under my desk right now (in metallic bronze, which they don’t make anymore.) It comes in many delectable colors & if you’ve never touched a Hayden-Harnett leather bag, go to Brooklyn & feel one up. There’s not a more buttery smooth gorgeous leather out there. My friends can’t keep their hands off my bags!
To really appreciate this dress, you need to see it on the model. Can’t you see yourself in this ensemble, sitting in Central Park reading your book, writing some poems or watching the children escape their nannies for a couple hours? Maybe you’re relaxing at the cafe with your coffee & your laptop or running across the swealtering platform to dive through the slivered opening of the 7 train’s closing doors.
This dress makes me want spring to come back around as fast as possible. I want to spin myself dizzy in a field of daisies & sip champagne on a picnic blanket in the shade.
You see, Hayden-Harnett is one of those rare brands that creates a realistic lifestyle. Unlike Abercrombie & American Apparel whose models are barely wearing the bland clothes they’re advertising, HH makes clothes that tell their own story. They create unique, inspiring pieces that have me speculating my own ads- featuring myself!

Oh my god I am in love with that first coat! It is just perfect. You can just imagine that it would be the most comfortable, flattering coat ever ever ever. I wish I could afford those bags. Very beautiful indeed. :)
