Jars in the Attic A couple weeks ago, I had the privilege of stumbling across a free art installation in New York at the Deitch Projects annex. I’ve never had to sign a waiver regarding injury & death upon entering a gallery, so naturally I signed my life away and barreled through the garage door [...] Now a head full of bourbon & a dream in the straw & a Gun Street girl was the cause of it all… This week was pretty momentous for me, my little macaroons! I have a lot to look forward to now & that’s a liberating feeling. With flying colors Don't worry! It grows back. In the end, only three things matter — how much you loved, how gently you lived and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. As I recently (though it seems forever now) & suddenly found myself kicked to the curb by a man I thought I’d [...] Fly away! Between the circus, New York & lots of mixed company, I had a phenomenal week, my little macaroons! It’s been a strange recipe filled with a cup of art, a pint of comedy, a dash of clairvoyance and a sprinkling of interesting people & friends. Psychic tells me things In honor of the circus being in town (and my clear & present infatuation with carnies), I’ve put together a few Big Top inspired styles. If you’ve ever dreamed of running away with the circus or maybe having an ardent & dangerous affair with the Strongman, you’re sure to connect with one of these fun [...] Duckies +bubbles + wine+ poems = Ahhhh What? A laid back week? Unheard of! And yet…it was nice to relax a little, especially because this week will be so nutty (in the best of ways!). Curled up on the couch Slow, jerky movements, [...] Maybe it’s my affinity for all things pin up. Maybe it’s my addiction to anything soft/shiny/pretty, but I can’t help it. Feathered hats and hairpieces are probably my most desired accessory right now. They’re perfect for the upcoming fall season, but I like to be ahead of the game.
