2010 was a year in which I took control of my bad situations & made them my bitches. I really learned how to take a challenge. It was a difficult year, no doubt, but I took everything in stride & made progress my own way. 2010 brought a lot of really amazing accomplishments [...] Fresh fish & veggies make the best meals! I’m no doctor, but I did lose 50 lbs in 2005 & I’ve kept it off! If you’re looking to shed a few pounds in the new year, try incorporating these little lifestyle changes. Don’t drink your calories. Soda, sugary juices & killer coffees from Starbucks or Dunkin’ [...] My sister's back from Australia! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas or holiday of your religious denomination of choice. I realized that my personality can pretty much be surmised from my top three Christmas gifts: a a yellow KitchenAid mixer, a new PlayStation & custom purple leather saddlebags for my motorcycle. [...] Goodbye 2010! Monday: I know all those leftovers look delish, but get rid of them today. Throw them out. Give them away. I don’t care. Just get them out of temptations reach! You will thank me later. Tuesday: Send this guy a self addressed stamped envelope. Wednesday: Plan out what you’d like to accomplish each month of [...] I am 26 years old. My sister is 24. Every year, my mother buys us Christmas pajamas & forces us to “hang our stockings” on the fireplace, even though they don’t hang up (they just sit on the floor in front of the fire waiting for an errant coal to burn up the awesome new [...] photo by Vincent Montibus I was waiting to meet a friend so I grabbed a delicious vegetable sandwich from Lenny’s near Rockefeller Center & decided I’d take a walk over to the skating rink to watch people fall. Surprisingly, the ice rink was totally cleared out. The ice was empty except for a young boy & [...] This is my town. I spent the weekend in New York catching up with friends I dearly miss & reminding myself why I’m so madly in love with the city. When my ex broke up with me, he nastily snipped that I wanted to be in New York because it was some kind of status [...] It's Christmas! Everyone's getting into it! Monday: Print out Glamour’s Lazy Girl’s Guide to the Grocery Store & pin them to your fridge. I have mine hanging up & it always helps me make healthier choices when I go shopping! Tuesday: Record your Andy Warhol style screen test & upload it to the MoMA site! Wednesday: [...] |
