Real clothes for real people? I’ve been watching my twitter stream buzz all week long about Fashion Week. Who’s walking? What’s trending? “Holy crap I’m front row at Oscar de la Renta!” Who cares? I mean, congrats to all the fashion houses for the hard work and preparation it took slapping weird looking pieces [...] Last weekend, there was a meeting of the most creative minds in this town & big things are coming! But first, we took in a movie- The King’s Speech, which was fantastic! Go see it. It’s funny & well done & boasts some seriously impressive acting. After that, we discussed creative plans over sliders, flatbread [...] Medina Bib Necklace by Stella & Dot For Christmas, I got a nugget wrap bracelet from Stella & Dot & it layers so nicely with so much of my jewelry collection that I fell in love. Their Spring/Summer Collection features a lot of Morrocan, Brazilian & Greek influences. The pieces are fun, colorful & worldly.
The other night I walked outside & realized our gorgeous October is gone. November blew in with its fallen leaves & blustering winds & cold rain. I also realized I don’t have any decent winter coats! The horror! After the ridiculous blizzard last winter that can only be described as a scene out of Life [...] From the closets of Hell comes the clacking of heels towering so high lightning crashes around them. The howls pain & broken blisters echo in the night. Don’t open the closet! There’s some frightening footwear in there! These harnesses take any shoe from lovely to lethal!
