Rest well, Miss Murphy Over the weekend, we lost a whole lot of talent & one of my biggest inspirations, macaroons. Brittany Murphy was effortlessly beautiful while keeping her face out of the tabloids, for the most part. She had that unique kind of beauty that turns heads simply because you’ve never seen features like [...] Ahh the good ole days! Tis the season for accessories, macaroons! With the sweaty summer months gone & fall in full swing, I’m breaking out more of my favorite scarves, hand bags & jewelry! My ever-growing obsession with “wearable art” combined with my dwindling bank account (lame economy + student loan repayment = tears) have [...] Shrug off the cardboard, burlap & suspender barrels! The city survived another stampede of high fashion, higher heels & heinous paparazzi. Now, macaroons, we can safely salivate over our favorite pieces…without accidentally drooling on Lindsay Lohan who is sitting in front of us. Here are my highlights of the week: Anna Sui’s show was some [...] Maybe it’s my affinity for all things pin up. Maybe it’s my addiction to anything soft/shiny/pretty, but I can’t help it.
