Rawr! Here I am! I work a lot, but summer’s almost over! I know Haikuesdays have been a little stingy on the adventure lately, but I have some things booked in the next couple of weeks to spice things up. Not that my life is lacking spice, necessarily. There are just some things a [...] Sometimes I feel like I'm just part of someone's collection of strange lives. This week was full of friends, many I hadn’t seen in a while. As certain aspects of my life deteriorate with no concern from the other parties involved, I’m reminded that I really need to make time for my friends, no matter [...] I imagine it would be a bit like decapitation… Macaroons, I’m looking forward to next week, ready to put this one behind me already. I need to get back into my poetry & other artistic endeavors. I need to let my quirks out. I’m exhausted & frustrated & really kind of pissed off. I want [...] Love. Another week gone & all I got was another roll over on my life odometer. Actually it was a busy week filled with hope, fancy events, thunderstorms & movies. I did, indeed turn a year older. I had a fabulous excuse (finally) to wear my Betsey Johnson dress & my new bootie/sandal hybrids. I [...] Where did last week take you? This week was positively teeming with adventure & happiness. I’m an official foodie with an official Editor title & all the restaurants in this ghost town are dusting off their tables in preparation to fling their doors open to the Shoobies. My first review for March Madness? This is MY kind of bracket! I can’t believe it’s Spring! It’s Spring! I hope you all got out in the first good sunshine & enjoyed free water ice at Rita’s. I had a fantastic week that involved new writing ventures, bonding with my best friend & her amazingly-perfect-for-her fiance over sushi & [...] Where absurdity is reality Some days, you have to laugh or else you’ll cry. Always choose laughter, macaroons. I spent most of the week laughing hysterically. Keep your eyes open! A walk on the beach A year after Grad Dear Time, moooove it! What a week, macaroons! It was the longest week of my life & I used a vacation day! Events lately have been so surreal it’s like living an extremely vivid dream. There’s a lot I can’t talk about, but here, in haiku form is what I can: Someone pointed out Life's not a rollercoaster…it's bumper cars…on acid. How was your week, macaroons? Did you try anything from last week’s Magic Monday list? I had a busy week between taking care of a post-op Muldoon & building a massive Finding Nemo cake for a 1st birthday party.
