March Madness? This is MY kind of bracket! I can’t believe it’s Spring! It’s Spring! I hope you all got out in the first good sunshine & enjoyed free water ice at Rita’s. I had a fantastic week that involved new writing ventures, bonding with my best friend & her amazingly-perfect-for-her fiance over sushi & [...] I think the bars on my heart are starting to lift a little. Macaroons! I had the best week! I feel like Alzy 2.0 & I’m ready to make some serious changes. I’ll let the haiku speak for themselves this week. I am a brave hair Hair [...] The facial expressions are the best part! I had just about the most surreal week ever, macaroons. It started with no electricity & ended in me diving into the ocean. Seriously! In ’09 I lost Breakfast in bed made It’s funny how we I feel like I'm living an episode of Life After People! This Haikuesday was done completely from my BlackBerry, macaroons. I am buried under 3 feet of snow without electricity, heat or hot water. All our perishable foods are outside buried in snow for refrigeration. Thankfully my apartment is equipped with a gas fireplace & [...] Life's not a rollercoaster…it's bumper cars…on acid. How was your week, macaroons? Did you try anything from last week’s Magic Monday list? I had a busy week between taking care of a post-op Muldoon & building a massive Finding Nemo cake for a 1st birthday party. That cake consumed my entire weekend, but it was [...] Hi there, Haikuesday! The year is off to a good start, macaroons. I’ve regrouped. I’ve added a new feature to the site known as Magic Mondays that began with an Open Letter to 2010 & will result in 52 beautiful weeks lived to the fullest by doing little things. Hope is a large fish The magic of winter is just beginning Did you survive the weekend, macaroons? Between the drunks, the full/ blue moon & the crazy wind gusts that felt like drive-by icicle stabbings, it was touch & go for a little while. This coming week is showing a lot of promise. Maybe it’s the fever or maybe it’s the impending New Year asking for reflection, but I’m in a weird place these days.
