Superalzy.com has been a non-niche blog for over 2 years now. My interests are so strange and varied that I don’t ever plan to make this site about one thing. I started the site as a portfolio for my writing and editing skills over a range of focuses.

Right now I’m working on re-theming, reformatting and rebranding Superalzy.com. I’m also focusing on personal development, acquiring new skills and becoming more marketable, moving my career in the right direction and developing Geeks Can Be Chic.

I have some good ideas rolling around ye ole drawing board, so I’ll be back. Oh, I will be back.

Making the best of crappy situations- I turned the mandatory evacuation into an evacucation in Philadelphia! ♠ Girls Nights with Fia! We painted our nails, shared some ice cream, danced to the VMAs & Fia helped me pick out dresses. She said I’ll look like Barbie in this pink one! Then she wanted me to pick out a “princess dress- a white one!” ♥ my Fia ♠ Stumbling into old memories. I didn’t realize I was walking Muldoon through the “Squirrel Park” my father used to take me to when I was 7-8ish until I walked into this statue:

I was always mesmerized by this statue.

The Please Touch Museum ♠ My survival skills. I stayed calm & knew what to do during an earthquake, hurricane & tornadoes. Bring it, zombies! ♠ Muldoon in the city. He did so well at the hotel, in the streets of Philadelphia & at the park. So many people, dogs & unfamiliar things & my dog was a CHAMP! ♠ Being naturally awesome ♠

Alright, Hurricane. I’m ready for bonfires & pumpkin carving & pie season. I’m ready for riding my motorcycle under multicolored leaves. Summer is great, but there’s nothing like fall. Why?

I’m tired of mosquitos.

I’m full of lemonade.

I’m over the pressure to tan. I like being pale, thank you.

I’m sick of engagements and the resulting rash of relationship questions the ripple out to everyone else.

I’m tired of traffic and tourists.

I miss my sweaters.

“Naturally disastrous.” Yes. It was a very bizarre week indeed. But after surviving all my deadlines, an earthquake and a hurricane FILLED WITH TORNADOES, I’m kind of feeling supercharged. Also very lucky. For a while there I wasn’t sure if I’d have a home to come back to. [...]]]>

Also very lucky. For a while there I wasn’t sure if I’d have a home to come back to. Irene missed us by about 10 miles.
